Water in your ears while swimming, irritating noise during a long car drive, train or flight travel, work or your partner's snoring, simply closing your ears is not the solution.  We want to get rid of annoying ambient and background noise,  but still want to hear what is happening in the immediate vicinity.  Therefore, Alpine has developed ear plugs with a build in damping filter.  The most disturbing ambient sounds get muffled while
the spoken word is heard.  These TNO tested ear plugs are made of durable plastic that due to body heat become soft and adapt to the ears.  The ear plugs are easy to clean with soap and water.  Unlike many other ear plugs the Alpine ones last even with extended use but proper maintenance approximately 1 year.
